I'm Teresa, mom to 3 yo dd.  I've had this site bookmarked for several YEARS now and just finally got around to checking it out!  I guess I'm needing to get more active in search of activities & playmates for dd, which is tricky for me since I'm rather introverted.  She, on the other hand, is SO outgoing!  And it seems like all the kids we know are already going to preschool.

I'm looking forward to a chance to look around here - just wanted to say "hi" first!

Hi Teresa. I have a three year old daughter as well. I'm not sure if you're interested in joining our co-op, but we have weekly park days that work pretty well for introverts AND extroverts. When my son was 3, that was about the time all his playgroup buddies were going off to start preschool, so it was kind of a stressful time for me looking for other kids for him to be around.

Hi Elizabeth,
I'm interested in the co-op.  The only concern I have is that I work mornings, so we could only do afternoon things.  (Her dad & grandparents take care of her in the mornings).  On the sample activity schedule on the information page for the co-op it looked like almost everything was happening in the mornings.  Has that changed?

Yes, most things tend to happen in the morning, because so many of us have younger kids who need their naps in the afternoon! On the other hand, we've recently grown to the point that we have something scheduled just about every day, so, in desperation, we've been adding some afternoon activities!! Also, for the fall, I'm pretty sure we're doing at least some park days in the afternoon to take advantage of warmer weather. Julie (ahomeschoolcoop@yahoo.com) would have the details on those.
