Hey everyone,
I was trying to schedule a group trip to the corn maze, but it turns out we need at least 15 people going (if fewer come, we'd still have to pay the same amount). I'm not sure we have 15 people interested, so... instead, I just want to tell you all that I'll be going (along with husband and kids!) on Sunday afternoon at 3:00. I'd love to meet up with any other familiy interested in going. Let me know by replying to this topic .

Here are some details about the corn maze. For more information, you can google for albuquerque corn maze.

It's located near Montano Rd, 1 mile west of 4th Street.

The Maize Maze 2003 at Los Poblanos Fields Open Space in Albuquerque, NM covers approximately 8 1/2 acres and contains over 3 miles of carefully hand-cut paths. The maze is a puzzle designed with elements of deception. This type of design requires decision making and each move depends on the previous one. Solving the maze is a great interactive family or group activity, yet each individual must walk their own path, and choose their own way. There are 12 information stations within the maze. The journey takes about 1 hour.

Admission to the MAIZE MAZE on weekends and moonlight walks is $6 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 12, and free for children under 5. There will be corn and chile roasting during the weekends. Field trips for school classes, after-care groups, scouts, service and corporate groups, and home-schooled students may be arranged by reservation during weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $3 per participant. To book school and group field trips call 505.345.4580.

Free parking is available at the gravel parking lot west of the entrance to the Community Farms on Tierra Viva on the north side of Montano Road, one mile west of Fourth Street. A ten-minute stroll from the parking lot through lush pastures with informational trail signs, brings maze-walkers to the entrance of the maze. We advise wearing sturdy shoes and hats.
