Morning, everyone!
I wasn't able to attend our proposed field trip on June 1st to Sprinkler Park, so I don't know if it went off or not, but since I didn't see any mention of its outcome, I thought I'd give you all an update on the Park, in case you didn't know, since I just tried to go there yesterday afternoon with my own kiddos.
Sprinkler Park is not currently in operation. Apparently, from what I gleaned from flagging down a maintenance worker at the complex, they've been having trouble with the water not draining properly and backing up, creating standing pools of water around the park. Safety regulations state that if there are standing pools of water they must provide a lifeguard, so they've shut the park down and don't expect to re-open it at all this summer season, while they decide how to address the problem. Bummer, huh?
I share this with you all b/c unfortunately, no one has seen fit to put up any signage indicating the Park is not operable, and I didn't want anyone else to drive all the way over there like we did, only to find it out of order!
Kind regards, Kristin |

Thanks for posting Kristin. That really is a bummer. I was hoping they would get it fixed soon so we could go. Oh well...
