There are a couple of listings on our co-op calendar that are for all homeschoolers, not just co-op members, so I wanted to give you all the info I have on them:
Wednesday, July 7, Beach Waterpark
Homeschool Beach Trip at the Beach Water Park (I-25 & Montgomery)
When: Wed, July 7th. Meet in front at 10:15am sharp!
How Much: Only $7 per head (age 3 & under free). (Usual price=$15!) We get a few free tickets so we'll just redistribute the savings back to each adult like last year.
Who: All homeschoolers welcome. We sort of took over the Beach with homeschoolers in June.
Food can't be brought into the Park (they want you to buy theirs), so the traditional tailgate bumper party in the parking lot is our solution. Extra folding chairs in the trunk are popular. Some people escaped to the air conditioned restaurants nearby. We can go in & out of the park if we're "stamped" for the day. Questions? Call Chris at 286-8627.
Saturday, July 10, Used Curriculum Sale
Here's the information (from Jacque aka wardrus) about the used curriculum sale:
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
at Grace Church
6901 San Antonio Dr NE
Directions: Exit I-25 at San Antonion and turn East
Church is just west of Louisiana on San Antonio
FREE for buyers/lookers.
To Sell your stuff: $5 and 6 ft tables provided. If interested in selling or have questions contact:
