Cherita Lamb is a Christian woman who owns a company called "Life Movement Productions - Designed to Sing". She is offering a class called "Find Your Voice" and it includes, but is not limited to, the following:
ear training, stage presence, song personalization, stage fright exercises, stage, endurance (dance moves, stretches, posture), breathing, vocal imagery, 5 sense vocal imagery, vowel and consonant sounds, projection, challenging scales, nutrition, recording studio field trip, etc. Cherita says that you do not have to know how to sing, you just have to have a desire to "find your voice".
She is offering her classes at Selah Studios - 7120 Wyoming NE, Suite 17 (at San Antonio) beginning August 25th
5-10 year olds 1p-2p Thursdays
11-16 year olds 2-3p Thursdays
she also offers a class for 17-adult but I don't have that info.
Selah Studios mission is to "communicate to the hearts of our community through the venues of music, movement and media". They opened on August 1st of this year. They offer every type of dance you could imagine plus several instruments, acting and DJ training. They are wanting to start a home school dance class consisting of hip-hop, break and street dance. If this is of interest to anyone, you can call me to put your name on the list and I'll contact the studio if we have enough interest.
