Alright, I had to share this. It is rather cute how she incoorperates the movie titles into her letter, (if you go to the link, you'll see what I mean).

Hi!
It's not often that I come to you with a personal message, so please
forgive this interruption in the normal posts for Virtual Field Trips.
As many of your know, I am opposed to the nationwide push to
institutionalize 2-5 year olds in government funded and/or mandated
preschool-for-all programs. The federal government and state
governments are initiating universal preschools without any public
debate.
In California, my home state, the actor-director Rob Reiner has
introduced a Preschool-For-All Initiative slated for the June, 2006
ballot. I wrote an open letter to Mr. Reiner opposing his plan that
incorporates his film titles -- thinking that it might be a clever
way to get some attention from the media for this issue.
I thought some of you would enjoy reading the letter, and if so,
please pass it along to your local newspaper editor.
You are also welcome to link to it from your own blogs or websites,
and feel free to pass it along to anyone else you think would enjoy
it or publish it in hardcopy or electronic forums. With your help we
can at the very least initiate some open dialogue and debate on this
topic that should be of concern to every parent of young children.
