During my ongoing search for science, someone, somewhere mentioned real science 4 kids.  After exploring this further I found the woman who wrote the books was from here in Alb !!  Now, here's where my memory fades.  I think, I could be making this up, but I swear someone mentioned that she teaches real science 4 kids classes here locally!  Does anyone have any information on this!?  Anything would be helpful.  I would like to purchase the set of books but if she teaches classes I'm afraid the book cost may be included so I thought I would ask first.  ANYONE?

I have seen the site thanks!  I even re-visited it tonight.  I still can't seem to find the info on how to contact her .  Her web address yielded no response.  Thanks for the response though.

Hi Amy,

I have not heard that she  herself teaches the classes.  If you find out let me know.  I do know there are some families who have organized and are using her books to teach science.  I believe it is either the Hope Christian or Desert Springs church off of Jefferson.  If you are interested please let me know and I track it down for you.  It was a friend of a friend who told me.

If anyone would be interested in teaching together, I would be very interested in doing this too.  If we want to purchase the books as group, I would be a part!

Or if you do find the author and she teaches here, I would be interested too, as long as cost aren't too much.

This also reminds me of Living Learning Books.  They have you read a small paragraph to the child and then the child colors a picture that is provided.

Hi everyone,

The Real Science 4 Kids group I was thinking of is through Hope Christian.  This is the first year they have done the classes.  I hope this information is helpful.  I apologize for taking so long to reply with the information.  Happy Holidays

Karen, I am so happy to see that you posted your class information here!  To all of the rest of you, my sincere apologies for starting this conversation and not following through!  My life has taken a series of unfortunate turns in the last several weeks as well as illnesses...tis the season  Karen was a wealth of information and in case you missed her advertisement, she is teaching a class beginning in Jan!  Again, my apologies.
