There is a health fair coming up Monday, April 24, 2006 at 1:00pm at Presbyterian Hospital.  It's unique because it lets the kids be the doctors, nurses etc.  There will be different "stations" where they will get to learn about Xrays, what different people in the hospital do, why things are done, and to get to "play" with things in a non-threatening environment.  It's a lot of fun for them.  That said, I'm trying to organize a group of homeschoolers to attend.  Anyone interested please email me at josacli@comcast.net with your name, and # of kids you will have attending.  I told the director of the fair I would get her a head count by the end of next week so please let me know if you can make it.

Thanks,
Jo-Anne

April 24th is a lifetime away for me. I know I'd be interested, but I have no idea if we could make it!

Thanks!

         Hi...

Sounds great.  Is there a fee for the Health Fair?

Thanks, Ally (mom to Levi 2.5)

Hi Jo-Anne.  Thanks for planning.  What ages do you think they are gearing this to?

The fair is free and I believe it is geared more to elementary aged kids and younger, but will clarify exact ages.  I know this is REALLY far in advance, but the slots fill so fast you have to schedule it this far in advance or you don't get to go.  I know life is kind of uncertain and things change.  Basically, if you want to go tell me, if you think there's a chance you won't be able to let me know.  I will include "maybes" in the headcount as I will probably be able to fill at least a few of those later if you can't go.
