For anyone planning to be at next week's park day at Montgomery Park (Thursday, 1pm, 4/13), I wanted to let you know I'll be bringing a craft project that your kids are welcome to do with us.

The kids will have the opportunity to decorate a pot (I'm pretty sure I'll be able to offer a choice of painting terra cotta pots or coloring plastic pots that have a removable liner) and then plant it with a marigold plant. I'll supply pots, paints, potting soil, and marigolds.  I'm growing the marigold seedlings under a grow light in my laundry room right now!

I'll bring enough pots & plants for about a dozen kids. Hopefully we won't run out. The cost will be $2 per pot/plant to cover my expenses.

We'll be there!  Please sign us up for one pot; therefore, I will bring $2 for Johnny's planting pleasure.

Hi Elizabeth,
we'll be there and I'm sure Clare would love to participate!  I've got extra pots - I'll bring them along in case they're needed.

Kate, I wonder if Don could bring that table you guys brought to the park last weekend? That might be easier for the kids to work at than on drop cloths on the ground. But not the pillows, because the acrylic paint we'll be using would stain them.

That was lots of fun, Elizabeth.  Thanks for organizing this!  It was also neat to meet many of you.    I will post some pictures I took of the event in the photo album
