We use RightStart as our primary math program and I love, love, LOVE it.  But I consider math important enough to justify adding in extra practice, or using another program (maybe more lightly) to make sure we're covering all the concepts and that she's really building the skills she needs.

I've heard that Math-It is great for building "mental math" skills, and teaching kids to do arithmetic quickly and efficiently in their heads.  I would love to hear from anyone who has used it -- please tell me what you think of it!

Also, since RightStart is very Asian and somewhat Montessori in it's approach, I wondered if a good "solid" Classical type program like Ray's might be a good supplement.  Anyone here have experience with it?

Thanks!
Gretchen
