Winter 2007

BioPark Beginnings
For ages 0-6

Explore the amazing world of animals and plants at the BioPark’s Rio Grande Zoo, Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Garden, and Tingley Beach!  Preschool children and one accompanying adult will play games, create fun works of art, sing songs and of course, visit the exhibits.  Come take a peek in the ocean, take a walk on a farm and discover animals from around the world.  Activities for a wide range of ages are facilitated with active parent participation.  Classes alternate weekly between the Zoo and Aquarium/Botanic Garden.  The final class will be at Tingley Beach.

Has anyone participated in this before? or is it a new program? It sounds like something my son would love to do, but I hoping someone has some feedback before I fork out the fee.

Shari, I can't recommend it personally, we've never done it. But I've talked to quite a few parents who have done it with their kids and they all mention how wonderful the program is.
