The class at the Specialty Shop has been scheduled for Friday, March 16.
This is the only day of the week the teacher teaches this class. There will
be two sessions if there are enough people signed up. One from 9:30-11:30
and one from 1-3. The class really only lasts about 1.5 hours but she
schedules the extra half hour for buffer. The maximum in each class is 26
students and based on the response so far, we are likely to fill up so I
will take people on a first-come, first served basis. Because I am
confident we will have plenty of people sign up, I am expecting the cost to
be $7.00/person.
The teacher has suggested that kids age 5 and up be enrolled. Because of
limited space in the kitchen, I am asking that a parent stays to help only
if you have a child 5,6,or7 or special needs. Otherwise, please plan on
dropping your children off and coming back to pick them up. Parents are
welcome to sign up to take the class, for the $7 fee. On the same note, if
you need to stay with a younger child and have toddlers, please make
arrangements to leave them elsewhere so that the environment is as conducive
to learning as possible. The teacher stressed several times that space in
the kitchen is very limited and is very full with 26 students in it.
So if you are still interested, please email me back with the number of
people you want to sign up, ages and if you want morning or afternoon. You
will need to plan to arrive approximately 20-30 minutes before the start of
