I'm glad to see some voting on activities for September. This seems like it's working out to be a good way of planning what we should do each month. One of the hardest things is just thinking up interesting ideas. If you have some suggestions for October, let me know.

Here are some ideas I have, please add your own (also any favorite parks you may have for play days).

Dixon apple farm
Pumpkin patch (in Moriarty?)
Dion's pizza tour
zoo or aquarium (again)
natural history museum
my favorite parks: loma del norte, holiday, piedra lisa
Halloween crafts (I would be happy to host a smallish group at my house)

Isn't Moriarity way out there? LOL (I have NO clue where it's at!)

We'd enjoy the pumpkin patch for sure! And we're totally up to going to the aquarium anytime, as well as doing crafts! Hey maybe we could even try for a small halloween party.... let the kids dress up, we all bring some kind of treat? It may be a way to get some more families interested in joining the activities. (this all coming from someone who has gone to two get togethers, but I promise to get out more!)

I just saw your email, Elizabeth. I'm putting in my vote for things to do for October as far as tours/fieldtrips. You listed these below and I'm interested in ALL of them, especially the havest bread one. You have fabulous ideas for field trips! How about adding a bagel shop too LOL.
