It seems like we're falling into a pattern with our weekly activities, and that is probably a GOOD THING, since it makes it a little easier for me to plan each month's events. What I mean is, it seems like we like park days about once a week, and then some other kind of outing during the week. Each month we seem to have (1) a craft group, (2) a trip to the zoo or aquarium, and (3) a trip to a museum (preferably on free day) such as Nat'l History, ABQ Museum, Rattlesnake museum, Children's Museum, and (4) a tour (Dion's, Lowe's, Whole Foods Market, etc.).

Can anyone help me with

- suggestions for good parks to meet at *with directions* (I already have LOTS of suggestions for good parks on westside)

- suggestions of other outdoor trips besides zoo and aquarium

- volunteers to arrange tours (this is pretty easy -- you just call the store to find out a good time, then post on this board to find out who wants to go)

- suggestions of other kids group activities or (adult activities with kids welcome). For example, I'm hosting a monthly kid's craft group. Does anyone want to volunteer to host or "teach" another group activity (either monthly, occasionally, or as a one time event)? For example, a music, sports, origami, or science group? Or a book discussion or gardening group or something else for the moms while the kids play?

Please think about it and let me know... I want to try to get some interesting stuff for our calendar this fall and winter.
