Hello!
I'm considering leading a new Brownie Troop next year (October) out of the Ventana Ranch Community Center. I was a Daisy Girl Scout leader in Washington State and I'd like to continue the journey! I'm looking for 6 year old girls, to join us as well as a co-leader and support from the parents of Brownies. If you're interested or know of anyone who is interested, please e-mail me. Thank you!

I am also interested in this, but my daughter is only 5. Is the age requirement pretty strict? Angelica |

| I too am interested, but I have a daisy, or almost age able daisy and I believe that they can mix, or used to be able to. I was a co-leader for 4 years in Los Lunas before. I too need the age requirements and to know where Ventana Ranch is. |

There's a group called Daisies which is for late 4 year olds, 5 year olds, and early 6 year olds. My daughter is currently a Daisy- she's 5 1/2.
The Daisy uniform is soooo cute! It's a turquoise apron and they earn 10 daisy petals by doing different activities. They don't sell cookies until they're a Brownie.
Brownies would be for late 5 year olds, 6 year olds, and early 7 year olds. They sell cookies and they earn patches by trying new things and helping the community.
I think the ages are within 3-6 months:
Daiy age (5) and Brownie age (6).
I hope that helps!

My daughter is 6. I had her signed up in AZ last year to be a Daisy before we moved. I've had NO luck with the girl scout office trying to find her a troop. Which I've heard from serveral people this is a common problem, the main office doesn't return calls for anything.
Anyway... we live in Rio Rancho, but I would LOVE to have my daughter part of the girl scouts group! Please let me know what I can do to help. My email address is sarahgolden@cableone.net.
Thanks!
