We're meeting Thursday morning at 9:30 for a park day at Haynes Park in Rio Rancho. I promised to post directions, and I finally pulled a map out, so here goes:
If you're not on the west side, you're going to want to take the Alameda exit on I-25 and head west. Continue on Alameda over the river. The road eventually curves to the right (north) and becomes 528 (also known as Coors Bypass?). Anyway, you want to continue on this road until you get to Intel. Haynes park is on your left, sandwiched between 21st and 19th streets. I believe the entrance is at 19th street. The distance from the river to the park is, at a guess, 2 or 3 miles.
I hope to see you there! It'll be great to get out early before the day gets really hot. |
