Spent part of the morning browsing at Learning is Fun on Menaul. Lots of new items in for the fall. They have Saxon Math in the Homeschool Section. I purchased a School-Rite Handwriting Instruction Guide for numbers. I had them order the alphabet guides in D'nealian for me. They resemble stencils but are much sturdier and it has arrows and numbers to help kids learn to write their numbers/alphabet correctly.
Oops! Almost forgot to mention that Learning is Fun has a "Way-to-Go" program that rewards students when they do something exceptional. Stop in the store and pick up a couple of FREE "Way-to-Go sheets. Each sheet contains six award coupons with scratch 'n' sniff stickers. When the student returns the coupon to the store, he or she will be able to pick a free gift from the Treasure Chest.
