I have not had a chance to introduce myself through the posts until now. I am Joanne Muniz, I am married to Dave for 9 years (10 in October  ) We have 4 kids, David 8, Jack 7, Jacob 5 (6 on the 28th) and Maria 3. This will be my first year homeschooling and very excited about it. Activities that I enjoy, volleyball at Lobo League, writing(when ever I get a chance, which is never  ), Jazzercise and going out to dinner with friends. My husband works for Qwest and he also plays volleyball, that's how we met. I enjoyed the first visit at the park. I look forward to meeting new moms and getting ideas and input from other moms.

Hi, Joanne! My name is Jenny, also a fairly new member. My husband is Andrew, and we have two boys, Brandon-almost five! and Aioden who is 4 months. So far we have really enjoyed the co-op and are looking forward to fall and more time to go to the co-op events.

Hey there Joanne, I met you at the park last week. What kind of stuff do you not have time to write?  My sister is a writer, and I've been known to put pen to paper myself, although only nonfiction. |

Hi!! Welcome to the co-op. I have only been a member for a short time but the support from this group is great I have been married to my husband Stephen for 6 years and we have two girls, Kayla 4 and Lynette 5 months. Kayla starts school this year and we are sooooooo excited!

Elizabeth,
I have submitted a manuscript to a nature magazine on how to attract hummingbirds to your backyard but I have not heard back yet. I graduated from Institute of Children's Literature about 3 years ago but with have the kiddos, I haven't had much time for writing. But I do jot down things my kids say and do and I know someday, I'll have a chance. I like both fiction and nonfiction. |
