My son is very interested in taking a yoga class, but unfortunately the only place that does kids classes in town is only offering a class on Wed night, which is a conflict for us. Besides I would prefer it be during the day anyway.
I spoke with Marsha at School of Complete Yoga and she is willing to create a class for homeschoolers during the day. What we need is just 10 kids who can commit to taking the class for at least 8 weeks. The cost is $10.00 per class. Right now we dont have a specific day, as this is just an attempt to figure out if there is even enough interest to make a go of it. Please let me know if you are possibly interested and we can go from there.

What are the age ranges your looking at for this class? I know Athena would love it however, she won't be 4 til october I know she would do fine, but if the teacher prefers to keep it geared older than we wouldn't be able to do it.

Im so sorry I didnt post it di I?? The range is 6-12 and I had her stretch that a bit. They wanted 7. They do have a class for four year olds on a weeknight though. I hope that helps.

I know Kris, one of our members is a certified yoga instructor. She must be busy. She was interested in teaching the last time we talked.

| I'd really like Katie to do this as well. She is very strong, but not very flexible and could really benefit from this. |

| I would be very interested in this! My dd wanted to do Tai Chi, but every place I called said not until she's 10 or 11 (she's only 6). I asked her about yoga instead, and she said that would be fine, but I haven't looked into it yet. Definitely put us on your list of intereseted parties! |
