You have to love a free museum day- if your kid just isn't into it, you can leave at any time and not feel like you didn't get your money's worth!

I always knew that the first Wednesday of the month was free at the Art Museum, but they must have recently expanded that! This is from cabq.gov:

There are more opportunities than ever to visit The Albuquerque Museum for free.

•General Museum admission is free every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

•In addition to the free Sunday mornings, the Museum is free from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month.

The free admission applies to general museum admission only. On free admission days there is a $5.00 special exhibition charge
