Hi All,
I have set up a field trip to Petroglyph National Monument. It is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 10 AM.
A ranger will be giving us a short presentation about the history of the site before leading us on a hike through Rinconada Canyon. This is 2.5 miles, but is rated easy to moderate. There are about 500 petroglyphs. It is suppose to take about 2 hours for the entire presentation and hike. They recommend this program for grades 5 to 12.
This is a free field trip, but there is limited room, so I need firm commitments by Wednesday, Nov. 9.
