Jill mentioned to me last week that the YMCA offers swimming lessons for homeschoolers. Has anyone done them? I'm considering them, but wonder if anyone has any information on how they compare (in both quality & price) with the outdoor summer ones offered by the city or with private lessons.

Wow! I had no idea! I just signed Harrison up for two sessions this summer in Rio Rancho, but I will be curious to see what others say about YMCA, for future lessons!

The Y has specific times set aside for homeschoolers. It's literally called HomeSchool Swim Time. IF -- --- I'm remembering correctly, it's several days a week and about 2 hours. Monica |

Laurel and I went to her first homeschool swim lesson yesterday. It is an hour long, and she loved it. The Y we went to was the one on Indian School. They have 3 days a week 1 hour each set aside for homescholers. You have the option of joining the Y or paying by the day.
