Just wanted to let everyone know that we are establishing a new forum for IDEA discussions -- a place for enrolled parents to meet and chat and plan events, and for anyone curious about the program to find out more about how it works. We're just getting started, so there's not a lot going on there yet, but bear with us because we have big plans!  Thank you very much, Elizabeth, for getting this set up for us.

Thanks, Lisa. Doing that stuff is fun for me; it reminds me of the old days when I used to have a pre-kid type of job doing this sort of thing for actual pay instead of for love  Maybe when our co-op kids are a bit older I can do a class about HTML and making web sites.
Thanks also to Katrina and Gretchen. They (and anyone who wants to join them!) are really the ones who are going to do the hard part, which is getting the word out to interested families and filling the new forum with useful information. |

In case anyone's looking for the ideanmforum.com forum, I've shut it down by order of IDEA-NM. I think they would like to set up their own "official" forum.
I may set up a private message board here (that is, in the forum you're reading now) as an unofficial way to discuss IDEA issues with other families. Let me know if you'd like access to that. |

I am sorry about all your work, Elizabeth, it was a nice forum. I don't mind waiting for them to set up a forum, I just hope it does not take long as it was nice to have a place to communicate between us.
