Dear Home School Family,

With the beginning of home school only a month away, you may be busy with your final selections for science curricula.  We would like to encourage you to take a look at what we have to offer in this subject as not all curriculums teach using the same methods.

Our science curricula all include workbooks which are more “hands-on” and interactive with your student. These workbooks employ several different learning styles that not only reinforce the textbook materials, but also greatly enhance your student’s mental understanding and retention of each lesson. Here is a little overview of our science and lab programs that you can read more about when you visit our web site.

Science 7: Explores the science of the earth and the universe. Atoms, molecules, space, volcanoes, earthquakes, weather, and more are covered in our easy-to-read format. The textbook includes do-at-home experiments. The workbook reinforces teaching through a variety of activities while encouraging your student with timely devotionals.

Science 8: Build your student’s foundations for higher level science with this curriculum. All concepts are presented in an understandable step-by-step method that, in combination with the workbook, gives every student the opportunity to succeed. Atoms, atomic bonding, chemical equations, lasers, gravity, energy and more are covered. This curriculum comes complete with a Periodic Table and lab kit.

Lab Reports: This easy-to-use workbook curriculum teaches your student the important skills of organization, analysis, and good writing while he/she performs science experiments. Your student will learn how to determine a title for an experiment, formulate a hypothesis, record pre-experiment information, record experiment data/observations, make tables/graphs, and analyze/determine the results of an experiment.

Lab Kits: Our two types of kits are ready-to-use. The Scientific Method Kit is a beginner kit that teaches the basic steps of the scientific method while your student has fun experimenting. The more advanced General Method Kit was designed to be used with our Lab Reports curriculum, but also contains simpler lab report forms you can choose to use instead.

All of our science and lab programs are enjoyable, thoroughly researched, and based on Scriptural truth.

When you visit, don’t forget to read the reviews from “The Old Schoolhouse” magazine.

Sincerely,

Resurrection Resources
