Science Classes

The Museum of Natural History and Science is once again offering hands-on science classes for homeschool students. The classes offered this year are



Basic Ecology I: The Abiotic World (includes field days on 10/19 and 11/16)

           Wednesdays, October 5th - November 23rd, 9:00AM -12:00 Noon, Grades 7-8, $75



Basic Ecology II: The Biotic World (includes field day 3/22)

           Wednesdays, February 1st - March 22nd, 9:00AM -12:00 Noon, Grades 7-8, $75



Basic Ecology III: Study Design and Data Analysis (includes TBD field days)

           Tuesdays and Wednesdays, April 11th - May 17th, 1:00-3:00 PM, Grades 7-8, $110



Ecology I, II, III package price: $240



Dinosaurs (includes TBD family field trip)

           Tuesdays, October 11th - November 15th, 1:00-3:00 PM, Grades 4-6, $60



The Solar System and Beyond (includes family field trips to VLA and NRAO on Feb 14)

           Tuesdays, January 10th - February 14th, 1:00-3:00 PM, Grades 4-6, $60

Dance Class

A home school hip-hop dance class has been established at Selah Studios (Wyoming and San Antonio near Del Norte Sports and Wellness).  Luke A. Loffelmacher, the instructor, is phenomenal!  He is a professional dancer and very good at what he does!



When:  Beginning September 8th (Thursdays)

Time:  3:00pm-4:00pm (directly following the voice/theatre class offered by Cherita Lamb)

Cost:  $8 per class (you can purchase a punch card that will save you a bit - ask about it at Selah Studios)

Place:  Selah Studios in Albuquerque

Ages:  No age limit.  Currently, the youngest is 8 and the oldest is 17
