Saturday, July 21st
10am-4pm

WILDFEST!

Events like this don't come around all that often, so when they do, it's best to take advantage. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Roosevelt Middle School (in Tijeras off Rt. 66), Talking Talons Youth Leadership and The Youth Conservation Corps will teach you and your kids about rescued animals like hawks, falcons, owls, bats and reptiles, as well as wolf pups (wolf pups!), ponies, alpacas and tropical animals. As if that isn't enough (we are talking wolf pups, after all), there will also be magicians, musicians, clowns, Fantastic Jumps, face painting and food. Ready for the best part? It's free.

For more info, visit http://www.talkingtalons.com or http://www.myspace.com/wildfest2007, or call 281-1133 ext. 4. (CC)
