Our monthly potluck is scheduled for the last Saturday in August, which also happens to be labor day weekend. Do we want to do it then, or should we reschedule to a less busy time when more people could make it? I was thinking that the Botanical Garden has that concert series on Thursday evenings. We could go out on Aug 21 or 28 and meet out on the grass for the concert and picnic there. I think there's bluegrass on the 21st and country dance music on the 28th. What do you think?

Judging from the underwhelming response to this post, I'm guessing maybe we should skip the potluck this month?

I wouldn't mind meeting at the Botanical Gardens on the 21st or the 28th.  In fact that would be perfect for us.

How about going for the first weekend in Sept? So we don't skip the potluck all together, but work around the holiday weekend?
