Mothers of Preschoolers invites you to join in each month, starting Sept 16th, for Brunch, Coffee & Conversation.  There will be creative activities, great speakers on great topics, door prizes, friendship and support, and much more! It's the answer to your prayers!  Expectant Moms and Mothers of children ages birth through K are welcome. If you are a homeschooler and have a school aged child, they are also welcome to come along, please contact Shelby at 323-2377 for info. Childcare is provided! Non Denominational.... everyone welcomed! If you would like to join us, registration is August 26th from 9-11:30 at Grace Church located West of Louisiana on San Antonio. Just wanted to bump this post.... Registration is on Tue, 8/26, from 9:30-11a.m. if you can't make that, meetings start up 9/16. Hope to see some of you there!

How much is the annual fee for this group?

There is no annual fee but each meeting costs $6, which is very cheap for 2.5hrs of childcare, a craft, a speaker, and food I believe you can pay for 5 and get 1 free though, you'd have to call Kathy 899-0551 to find out for sure. First meeting is 9/16!

From something I read in New Mexico Kids magazine, I gather that MOPS is a Christian group. Is that right?

That was our ad! Yes it is a Christian group, that does not mean you have to be a Christian to join. As a matter of fact, there are several women that aren't Christian that love going to the group. It is non-denominational and there is no pressure. We pray before we eat, we pray before we leave. Its just an awesome program, no matter what you believe. It is considered a ministry also.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 9/16, is the first MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) meeting at Grace Church, on the N side of San Antonio just W of Louisiana. It starts at 9:00 a.m. and lasts till 11:30 a.m. It is for Birth through K, homeschoolers your school-aged children are also welcome to come along. Meetings are at the same time/place the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month through May!
