We should get together and plan a movie day. In some of the larger cities there's an organization called "Reel Moms" where Moms can all get together with their kids and go to a movie. On the Westside there's Movies West with $1 movies normally and 50 cent ones on Wednesdays. Right now they are only showing The Cat in the Hat, but this might be a neat thing for the future.

Sounds like a great idea! If a good movie comes along and you want to figure out the logistics (when, where, price, etc.) you'll get plenty of movie buddies! There's also a cheap movie place on the east side on San Mateo, called Movies 8 I think. Looks like Cat in the Hat is the only choice there too. Last I heard it was $1 during the day. Anyway, whenever you want just post an invitation for it. I can add it to the calendar and announce it in the weekly newsletter as well. Or if you want access to the calendar to add it yourself, just let me know...

The Movie date sounds like a great idea. And in the past, Movies 8 has given tours of the film rooms. This is something that we could do before the movie, usually taking about 30 minutes. You have to listen to the entire recording of the movies, and then get the number at the end in order to get ahold of the manager and set it up. Or if you like I could do it for you, just let me know. But having it right before a movie that we'll see, is the best.
