I think that is such a great idea.  I am awful at organization, but would be interested in participating.  Sometimes it is so much easier to care for kids when there are more of them, and they keep each other busy.  I think it could be lots of fun.

Two people exchanging babysitting is simple. But if you start a babysitting co-op, the logistics of keeping track of who has earned credit for babysitting who/how many is kind of hard on the person who has to do it. Have you guys heard of BabysitterExchange.com ? It does a lot of the work of keeping track for you, and I think it's free.

That was a good suggestion, I will check out that web page. I talked to a few seasoned coop members who gave me a few suggestions on keeping track of the hours. 1) each member takes a turn at keeping track for a month. 2) the one doing the babysittinghas to call the secretary of the month and let them know. 3) The secretary gets 1 credit from each member when they keep track. 4) decide how the credit system works ahead of time. so there are no misunderstandings........

Also, I am looking for a regular trade. Perferably in the university area,or near I-40, on Thursdays from 2-6 p.m. If you know anyone please contact me !!!!!!
thanks, tricia
