My family belongs to the Coronado Club on KAFB (my husband is a Sandian) and I take my daughter swimming there 1 or more times a week. I was just curious if anyone else swims there and would like to meet up.  (My dauther is 21 months.)

Haven't heard of this one, what do you have to do to become a member, or go? My daughter-in-law is a military spouse so she could get me on base if needed. We're trying to try a new pool every week, and we'd like to check out the base too. There is also a great homeschooling group on base, did you know that?

I think in order to go you have to be a club member or go with someone who is a club member.  If you want to go, and can get on base we can meet in the parking lot and go in together.  The guest price is about the same as the town pools.

The Coronado Club (and saddly this is the last year it will be open) has a really nice area for young kids.  It has two wading pools of different depths and a nice shaded sitting area with tables and chairs.  The Club and pool are about a block inside (first light) the Wyoming gate.

And, since this is the last year this pool will be open we're going to be hitting some other pools to find one for next year.  My daughter really loves water.

And, no I didn't know about the KAFB homeschooling group.  Since Kivrin is still young I a total beginner at this whole thing.  I'll look into it.  Does your SIL belong?
