If you are looking for an alternative to Scouts, there is also a program called Spiral Scouts.  It is very nature based.  It was started by a Pagan church, but you don't have to be Pagan to be a part of it.  anyway, it is another neat alternative like this post that I am replying to.  You can go to http://www.spiralscouts.org to get more info.  There isn't a group in New Mexico, but they have an option for a home group.....some of you may even be interested in starting a circle fro more kids.  Have a great day!

oops, did I post this in a Christian section?  I'm still trying to get to know this list.  I'm not sure if "Keepers of the Faith"  is a specific section, or just the title of this particular post.  Sorry about that...still an interesting alternative to scouts...but I believe I put it in the wrong place.
