Scholastic book sale.  
You do not have to show any proof of being a teacher to go AND you may take your children.

Directions:
Take San Mateo north and cross over Montgomery.  There are shopping
centers and restaurants on the left.  Stay in the left lane and look
for McLeod and turn left at the the stoplight onto McLeod.  Go
through one stoplight and you will see the Scholastic building on
the left before going around a curve and alongside I25.
