Good day to everyone,
My name is Jessica & I am beginning my search for homeschooling resources.  So far, this site seems to be the most informative, and I can't wait to be a part of the action.  My son, Donny, is 4.  I have a little girl on the way, due to be here early November.  I taught preschool & special education for a total of 6 years before moving on to a career at a large company here in Albuquerque.  My work schedule allows me to have most weekdays free.  I plan on homeschooling Donny while providing him every possible opportunity to socialize and interact with other kids.  I just need to find a playgroup and join some activities!  We live in the NE, near the malls.  Can't wait to participate!!

Hi Jessica!  Congratulations on your decision to homeschool!  We moved to Albuquerque from Tucson over a year and a half ago.  I wasn't really planning on homeschooling until we moved here.  I miss teaching in the classroom (I taught second grade) but now I get to do all that fun stuff with Jonathan and I am involved with this great coop!  I do have a play group on Tuesdays if you are interested.  I live on the NW side of town. I look forward to meeting you!

Thank you so much for responding!  I would love to attend your playgroup.  I work at 4pm on Tuesdays, so anytime before that would be great.  Please let me know when and where you are planning the next one, so that we can plan on being there.  Donny NEEDS some friends!  Thanks again!

We meet at 10:00 am on Tuesdays. We will not be meeting this Tuesday since the coop has a great activity planned.

Hi Jessica, great to meet you! Our co-op has park days, classes, fieldtrips, and many other activities during the week where your son can meet other children.
