Are any of the hsers here south of town, or in one of the smaller communities down that way?

I shouldn't have been so cryptic!  We will be moving an hour south of ABQ in May, with a 7 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl.  Starting late August I'll be driving into ABQ frequently to attend UNM, and will probably bring the kids, so we can meet in town for social events. I hope to join the coop and find friends for my kids.  But until then, I'm wondering if anyone happens to live even a bit closer to us than NE ABQ!  Such a big "town" (yet that's what I call it).

Hello!  I am also moving to Albq in May we will be there May 19 to be exact.  We are moving to the southwestern side of town.  So we will be down that way.  I have an 8 year old , a 7 year old and an 14 month old, all boys!!  Do you have any idea where you are going to live?

Hi, Dawn!  We'll be arriving about the same time!   We're trying to buy a house in Mountainair.  We aren't sure it will work out that way, but it would be easier on the Dad to live there.  Do you have a house/location already?  Is it the Belen area, or elsewhere?  I never was very familiar with that end of ABQ, but I have maps!  Will you be at home or working?

Hello!! And welcome to the south side of Albuquerque! I'm Tammy, mother to one 10 month old son, Luke. We arrived in Albuquerque just a few months ago from Northern California. We are in the far Southwest area of Albuquerque. We live just north of the Isleta Indian Reservation. We discovered that it is actually easier for us to shop/do business in Los Lunas, Bosque Farms area.  I am staying at home & trying to bring some character into our old house. This is beautiful country.
