Hi!  I am tackling a new chapter in our lives. We have decided that homeschooling is the way for us. I have just begun with my son (alomost 6) with Kinder and have a 3 yr old girl. We are looking for a group to join and do various activities as well as for myself to meet families with the same ideas and outlook for our children.  Any information and how to go about meeting with you all would be helpful.  I cannot wait to hear from someone.  IF I did not mention, we are now in Rio Rancho, but willing to drive.

Hi,

My name is Mary Ann.  My son Hettar (Hey-tar) will be 5 in Dec. and my daughter (Islena) will be 4 next March.  I live near the Rainbow Pool close to the new Walmart.  They're building Chili's restaurant and Starbucks in the same area.  Would like to meet you at the next westside park day.

Thank you for the quick responses and greetings.  I would love to join the group - sounds like it is right up our alley.  I will go and register and hope to see some of you at the next gathering.  Take care.

A Chili's and a Starbucks??  I'll be in heaven   .  We're live past Rainbow Park and everytime I drive by those empty lots I've wondered what they are!  My daughter Megan just turned four last month.

The majority of the kids in the co-op are right around your children's ages.  There are lots of events for kids in those age brackets.  My family tries to stay close to home, (Albuquerque - East side) but hopefully we will have an opportunity to meet you at an upcoming activity.

Welcome to the area and to homeschooling!

Hi there! I have a 6yo boy and 3yo girl. We're planning on going to the westside park day (though we live in NE Heights). Hope to see you there!

WOW!  This seems great.  I really hope to meet soon.  Our day for the west side park day just happens to be crazy! Soccer and 2 dentist appts.  But, if some of you hang around for a long time, we will probably be finished with our stuff by 12:30 ish.  That's a long time at the park (although I know my 2 would love that!) but I'll stop by anyway and see if anyone is still around.

Thank you so much for the great responses.
