I've been there once.  If you are a member of CAPE you can use the center for free.  It is basically one room filled with used/donated textbooks and resources that can be checked out for one year (videos for one month).  I was able to find some books that will be useful for us.  I think you just have to visit the ERC to see what you can find useful for your family.
