A friend of mine was given a rabbit cage when her neighbors moved, and she is looking to give it away.  Anyone interested?

Hmm... this is so tempting!  We were at the fair today and saw lots of cute bunnies!!  As if we need any more animals!!
Does anyone have experience with having rabbits in the winter?  Do they need a warm place... like inside?  We live in the mountains (7,000 ft) and it can get quite cold.  Just curious.

Rabbits are actually better off in cooler weather and should do fine outdoors as long as they have protection from the wind and/or rain.  The hutch should have some sort of enclosed portion to it.  Then add hay or wood shavings for insulation.  We are in the valley though and only get lows in the 30's.  Hope this helps!

I am interested if it is an indoor cage. We already have one bunny and are looking for a friend for him.  I didn't want to put them in the same cage though, in case they don't hit it off right away.

I would love to have that rabbit cage!  My girl and boy bunnies have been a little too busy lately.  Please e-mail me her data!  Thanks! Marcy
