I am Drucie Turner, supervisor of the Standardized Patient program at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. We use people from the community to portray patients in learning and assessment activities with medical students.

We have an opportunity soon for 13 high-school age young people to help first-year medical students learn how to conduct a medical interview and sports physical. We pay our Standardized Patients $10 an hour for both training and performance time and provide parking passes.

We have had great success with home-schooled students in the past.

My contact information follows.
