Dear Albuquerque Homeschool Co-op:
Hello from Geraldine Linney, a proud mom! My son, William E. Linney, has recently published an exciting new beginning Latin method for homeschoolers and self-taught students called Getting Started with Latin. I am helping him spread the word about his new book. After interviewing several homeschool moms to see what they wanted in a beginning Latin book, he created Getting Started with Latin especially for homeschool families – to help them overcome the challenges of learning Latin at home without a teacher. The book’s features include a gradual pace, simple language, answer key in the back, large format (to lay flat on a table) and FREE pronunciation files on the book’s website in MP3 format.
The book’s website,
http://www.gettingstartedwithlatin.com has many free resources available for download. You can preview Getting Started with Latin, download free Latin grammar materials, free pronunciation files, and find links to all kinds of Latin resources on the internet.
If you think that Getting Started with Latin is a worthwhile project, help spread the word by sharing this information with the other members of your local homeschool group or co-op. They may also benefit from this unique resource.
If I may be of any assistance to you, please contact me, Geraldine Linney, at geri579@bellsouth.net. Or, at
http://www.gettingstartedwithlatin.com you may contact the author of the book directly.
Thank you,
Geraldine Linney
