A selfless, unmanipulative plug for local kid's resale:
1. Other Mothers is pretty darn neat;
but, they do play club music (not the Disney version)
and you've gotta get past occassional ghetto talk

(or join 'em).
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that
they're SHORT on spring and summer clothes and they're very EAGER to buy good-quality stuff right now. Go ahead, take advantage!
They trade in Monday-Saturday between 9:30am and 5:30pm (no appt. needed).
They require clothes be freshly laundered and sellable.
They also buy women's clothing, maternity clothing, teens, boys, and girls, and baby items. They also buy furniture, toys, books, and videos.
That means they sell all of those items, also, at a very fair resale price.
I find that they are FREQUENTLY CHEAPER than thrift stores, seriously.
IF you decide to trade, you earn more and it's tax-free.
I get 75% of our clothes there (they don't sell men's items).
PLUS, you're RECYCLING! That's my favorite part . . . and there's a lot of variety.
They're also having a drawing right now . . . who knows?
2. Baby Bear resale shop . . . many of us love that resale shop, too. They also buy under the same conditions and they're even more selective and a bit more expensive (but still LOADS cheaper than retail). Baby Bear's hours are very limited so be sure to call first. They also have many NEW things . . they're the local authority on Robeez, baby slings, and cloth diapers.

If you're spring cleaning last year's outfits/toys/furniture,
consider taking it to resale and earn a bit . . . it does EVERYONE good.
