Wanted to pass this on to you! This is a GREAT location and a GREAT opportunity. We'll be there - hope to see you!
Dancing is such an important part of many cultures . . . and many children grow up with some form of dance in their "villages" at very young ages.
Why is it that in America, we often reserve dance for adults? OR, we primarily introduce children to the very formal dances (which are great, too) . . . Dance is a FAMILY THING in many cases. (Consider Africa, South America, and the English May Day . . .to name a few.)
Join us on Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4909 Hawkins, NE for a fun afternoon of dancing.
No experience is necessary! The price is $5 per person and children dance for free. Bring a new dancer and you dance for free. If you need any more info, contact me at larada@earthlink.net or 323-7098.
