Wanted to pass this on to you! This is a GREAT location and a GREAT opportunity. We'll be there - hope to see you!
Dancing is such an important part of many cultures . . . and many children grow up with some form of dance in their "villages" at very young ages. †
Why is it that in America, we often reserve dance for adults? OR, we primarily introduce children to the very formal dances (which are great, too) . . . Dance is a FAMILY THING in many cases. † (Consider Africa, South America, and the English May Day . . .to name a few.)
Join us on Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4909 Hawkins, NE for a fun afternoon of dancing.
No experience is necessary! †The price is $5 per person and children dance for free. †Bring a new dancer and you dance for free. If you need any more info, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 323-7098.
