Adventures in Art  

TUE, 11/11 – 12/16  4-5:00pm, $75 members/$95 nm, Ages 4-6

Children of this class…get ready to go on an adventure around the world! Each week will be a new culture to explore:  Mexican, Indian, Thai, Egyptian, and Native American.   Art projects will be the main focus of this class, but also expect to hear different music, hear diverse stories, and learn about other peoples. There is a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 8 students. Class fee includes materials. Register online at jccabq.org or call Amy Stangel at 332-0565 x4518.


Having Fun with Clay!

Thursdays 11/6 - 12/18 (No class on Thanksgiving)

$90 members/$120 nm, Ages 7-12

Children will have fun learning to manipulate clay using it to express their ideas while mastering basic techniques.  Varied and exciting projects in hand-building, including animals, sculpture, containers, tiles and more will be undertaken.  As time and interest permits, we will also cover beginning wheel skills such as centering, cylinders and basic shapes. Pieces will be glazed and fired. Tuition includes all materials.  Class size is limited to six students.  Register online at jccabq.org or call Amy Stangel at 332-0565 x4518.
