Are you familiar with Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center?

If you've been to the SprayGround, you've walked right through it:

for $13/YEAR you can use their work-out facilities, attend educational classes, join them on day trips, and go to special events!   The catch is that you have to be at least 6-yrs-old to join.  Once you are a member of MMMC, you have access to all Senior Center activities unless they indicate that it's seniors-only.  Now, I don't mean to sound mooch-y here . . . or to sound like an opportunist.  Personally, our family attends activities so that we can mingle (and sometimes volunteer) with another generation . . . it's great for homeschoolers!   Elders often love to visit with children and share their stories, skills, or company.

Consider joining MMMC.   If you're unsure, pick up an "Activities Catalog" near the front desk and/or ask for a copy of their daily schedule.   You may be surprised!
