Homeschooling Families with Children of All Ages Welcome!

3rd Friday of Each Month from 1-3

As an individual family, learn about a country of your choosing, and then
join other families to share what you have learned. We do ask that you
don't duplicate, in the same semester, any country that another family has
already claimed.

You can share what you've learned through a display, an oral presentation,
song, dance or in any other way you'd like.

Each family will bring a food item, typical of their country of study, to
share with the other families---just enough for everyone to be able to taste
it.

Chris Tucker has been kind enough to volunteer to make passports for the
participating children, and they will be stamped as we "travel" to the
various countries.

IMAGINE! A Science Fair Setting for a Cultural Exchange!

IMAGINE your kids going around to learn about cultures past and
present from all around the world, stopping by each table, sampling
the food, participating in the activities, and getting their
free "passport" stamped at each table...

IMAGINE your kids sharing their own studies of Irish Dance, or their
Russian heritage, or Ancient Egypt, or modern Japan! Let their
creative skills soar as they teach other kids some heiroglyphics or
origami. Imagine how motivated they become when they know they are
going to share that knowledge with other kids, plus the valuable
opportunity to develop those presentation skills, too!

IMAGINE yourself and your kids at this free monthly event, from 1-
3pm on the 3rd FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH. It's at the Manzano Mesa
Community Center on the east side, near Juan Tabo and Central.
