Hi everyone!
My name is Amber and I am homeschooling my 15 year old daughter this year. If anyone has any advice for homeschooling  a teenager I would REALLY appreciate it.

Thanks.

Hi, and welcome!

My son is only 5 so I don't have any advice for homeschooling an older teen, but I wanted to pop in and welcome you just the same.

Hi there!

I believe there's a Christian-based TEEN homeschool group called D.R.I.V.E.     http://www.abqteendrive.com/
amongst some others . . . please do let us know what you discover . . . I hope there's much diversity out there, as well, for those who might not be "into" D.R.I.V.E. . . . anyone else have suggestions?

I thought I might mention that this Saturday, Sept 22, we are having a D.R.I.V.E. family picnic.  It would be a great time for anyone who is interested in learning more about D.R.I.V.E. to attend. For more details about it, you can email me at info@abqteendrive.com.

Additionally, there are programs such as Civil Air Patrol and Rio Grande Homeschool Band that may be of interest to your daughter.

One thing that I recommend as a parent educator is the full version of Homeschool Tracker http://www.homeschooltracker.com/  Their free version is great, but you can create report cards and transcripts with the full version, which is well worth the small fee for the software!
