Just in time for the big October holiday of fright and fun, a movie for kids of all ages at the Loma Colorado Public Library will be shown in the Auditorium. For fans of animation, and for all those who just love great movies, this film promises something for everyone. It is especially good for kids who are afraid of the dark.

All little goblins and ghouls are welcome to the best Halloween carnival around. There will be a variety of carnival games, cakewalk, costume contest, pinata bust, magic show, and much more. This is a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating. So come to Sabana Grande Art Center from 5-9 for some Halloween fun. Child admission is 4.00, 2 and under are free and parents admission is free. All ages 9 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We are located at 4110 Sabana Grande (next to the Motor Vehicle Division) one street light north of 528 and Southern Blvd.
Be sure to call-ahead and let them know you're coming. Also, you must first become a member for $13/year at Manzano Mesa which gives you access to all facilities.
They welcome homeschoolers (usually) as long as you know they really value "heavy supervision" of the children . . . (they won't be allowed to frolic freely.) DEFINITELY CALL IN-ADVANCE. It's still fun 'cuz they get to see that Halloween is for people of all ages - sets a good example.
There will be "Trick or Treating" going on throughout the mall on October 31, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. or until candy runs out which ever comes first! Bring the children for an enjoyable event within the mall.
The Halloween Carnival is a fun filled event for the entire family. It consists of Carnival games, Interactive Bouncer Inflatables, Caramel Apple Walk, Costume Contest, Raffle and Food. The Costume Contest consists of 6 age categories: 0-4 year olds, 5-7 year olds, 8-10 year olds, 11-13 year olds, 14-17 year olds and 18+. Sign-ups for the contest will be from 6-7:15 PM.
