Educational Tours

516 ARTS offers free educational exhibition tours to school groups of all ages, and community groups. Educational tours are led by arts professionals and guest artists who provide focused attention to groups of students and teachers. Free teacher packets include discussion questions, project ideas, CD with exhibition images and slide show, and illustrated reading material with educational information on current exhibitions. Participating in these tours benefits students by engaging them in analytical thought and interdisciplinary approaches to learning, expanding their vocabularies through art appreciation, fostering creative thinking in all their subjects at school and providing information about career options in the arts and creative fields.

When:    Tours are offered by appointment from 10am to 5pm Monday through Friday, or at other times by appointment. Transportation is not provided.
