WOW Campout is a program for the new camper. We supply all the equipment, a city park, food, and sleeping bags that the youth can take home. The new camper will set up camp, cook their meals, enjoy a "camp fire", learn environmental skills (Leave No Trace), clean up and the fun of sleeping under the stars. Campers check in at 2pm the first day and stay through 2pm the following day. Campers must attend the entire adventure to earn the sleeping bag.

Costs: $10.00 per camper
Who: Youth between the ages 9 and 12

Registration: Pre-registration is required.  Registration forms are available by emailing Outdoor Recreation at outdoorrecreation@cabq.gov. You may also request a registration packet by calling (505) 857-8100, please leave a brief message with your name, phone number and address. Registration packets can also be found on the City of Albuquerque’s website at http://www.cabq.gov/recreation.  For more information call Albuquerque’s Citizen Contact Center at 311. Space is filled on a first come/ first serve basis, so call quickly. Please mail your completed registration packet and payment to the Outdoor Recreation main office.
