Hello!! My name is April and we're still pretty new to the Albuqerque area. I have three children. The oldest is finishing up his kindergarten year and my second is finishing preschool. I also have a 16 month old. I was hoping to get my kids involved with a group here, they miss their friends from their old group. I'm in the Ventana Ranch area and would love to find "park days" around here and maybe other mothers with kids around the same age to get together for play dates, but I'm open to going all around the Albuquerque area. (I'm from So Cal so I expect to have to drive all the time!! LOL) I hope to be in touch with some of you soon.... thanks   April

Hi April!

Two of my kids are similar in age to your oldest 2. We go to the westside park day on Tuesdays, it is still pretty active even in the summer. It's at 10 at Sante Fe Village Park, next to the Taylor Ranch library- pretty close for you.

Why don't you drop by if you get a chance? Newcomers are always welcome, and there are plenty of kids in your kids' age group to play with.

Hope to see you soon

My kids are also close in age to yours.  We haven't been to park day recently but have been to the westside one in the past and it is really nice.  I live further south than you but Ventana Ranch is not far.  My oldest finished kinderarten this year as well.  And I have a 3.5 year old and a 20 month old.  Maybe we'll see you at the park next week?  We can't make it this week.  My oldest is doing VBS this week and it is birthday tomorrow.
